In the heart of Maliu Township, Guangyuan, Sichuan province, the ancient art of Maliu Embroidery has been meticulously preserved for over a millennium.

Originating during the Qin and Han dynasties (221 BC–AD 220) and flourishing through the Tang and Song dynasties (618–1279), this exquisite craft is deeply rooted in northern Sichuan's cultural heritage. For generations, local women have passed down their mastery, transforming delicate threads into intricate, breathtaking patterns.
