International students marvel at Guangyuan Kiln Culture
Thirteen international students from Sichuan Vocational College of Information Technology embarked on a journey to explore the Guangyuan Kiln in Sichuan province on Sept 26.

At the Guangyuan Kiln Museum, the students gathered around Ma Zhengjun, a master of the kiln craft. Ma shared his expertise, detailing the intricate processes of pottery-making and highlighting the unique characteristics of Guangyuan ceramics. He also discussed the wide-reaching impact of China's ceramic culture, particularly among Belt and Road Initiative countries.

After touring the museum, the students got hands-on with clay. Under the guidance of a skilled instructor, they learned the delicate techniques required for shaping pottery. Before long, a variety of uniquely shaped pottery pieces began to emerge from their efforts.
A highlight of the visit was the stunning exhibition of finished ceramic works. As the intricate and beautifully crafted pieces were unveiled, the room was filled with admiration and wonder.
This cultural exchange not only allowed the students to experience the craftsmanship of Guangyuan Kiln but also strengthened their connection to China's vast and enduring cultural heritage.
