The 2024 Guangyuan Girls' Festival launched with vibrant energy on Sept 1, drawing tourists from around the country to the birthplace of Empress Wu Zetian of Tang Dynasty – Guangyuan in Sichuan province.

The city was invigorated by an array of artistic performances, including music, poetry, dance, and creative choruses, all celebrating Guangyuan's rich cultural heritage.

The International Phoenix Boat Race got off to a fast start, with spectators on both sides of the Jialing River cheering with excitement.

Stunning floats paraded through the streets, and performers delivered a captivating folk culture showcase. The festival also offered a spectacular audio-visual experience, with a mesmerizing water light show, impressive drone choreography and dazzling electronic fireworks.

This year's Girls' Festival created lasting memories, leaving us eagerly anticipating next year's celebrations.
