At Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden, elegant tulips of various colors are in full bloom, making a dramatic impression.

Among the many types of spring flowers in the garden, the tulips attract great attention for the ocean of color they create and the way they are planted.

There are various tulips that bloom in red, pink, yellow, orange, and other colors in the garden. The best time for viewing the flowers lasts until early April.

According to the horticultural engineer of Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden, 56 varieties of tulips are on display this year. They are mainly mid-flowering varieties that bloom in mid-to-late March.

In addition to standard single-color planting methods, mixed-color planting and interplanting methods were also utilized in the tulips display areas to produce a colorful and multi-layer landscape. Tulips can be seen in many spots in the garden.

In the Chenshan Impression Flower Bed, which is located near the Green Theater at Gate II, beautiful and colorful patterns like the "ice cream cone" pattern were created with tulips that are red, pink, yellow, orange, and other colors. The area has become a popular place for visitors to take pictures.

Tulips can also be found in the square outside Gate I, along the line from Gate I's battery station to the Children's Garden Station, along the main tour line's flower borders, and near the Bamboo Garden's flower border.

Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is a popular place to admire flowers in spring. The garden is located in the Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort in Shanghai's Songjiang district and covers an area of 207 hectares, making it the largest botanical garden in East China. It is a national 4A-level scenic spot.
