Scenic spots in Sheshan, Shanghai, are free to medical workers in China to honor their contributions in the fight against COVID-19, according to the management committee of Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort.

The privilege will be in effect until Dec 31, 2020.

Shanghai Happy Valley and Shanghai Yuehu Sculpture Park are free to medical workers on the Chinese mainland, while Shanghai Chenshan Botanic Garden, Sheshan Forest Park (Tianma Mountain Park, Xiaokunshan Garden), and Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park are free to medical workers in China.

They all need to show their ID cards and professional certificates before entering any of the scenic spots.

In addition, the Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort is also offering free ticket packages to medical workers, which will be effective until June 30. The offer is limited to one ticket package per person and each scenic spot included in the ticket package can only be visited once.

The ticket package includes Shanghai Chenshan Botanic Garden, the Smurfs theme park, Shanghai Yuehu Sculpture Park, Shanghai Happy Valley, Tianma Mountain Park, Xiaokunshan Garden, and Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park.
