The display greenhouse at Chenshan Botanical Garden reopened to the public on May 16, local media reported.

Visitors need to make reservations on the garden's official WeChat account (csnbgsh), its official website, Ctrip, or Meituan, and visitor numbers are capped at 10,000 per day.

Covering 12,608 square meters, the display greenhouse has three parts: a tropical flower house, a sand plant house, and a rare plants house.

With mountains as background and a natural barrier, the tropical flower house has more than 600 species of plants, such as traveller's trees, frangipani and talipot palms.

The sand plant house imitates the environments in Australia, Africa and America and showcases more than 1,000 species of sand plants, including welwitschia bainesii, carnegiea gigantea, and euphorbia tirucalli.

The rare plant house includes a livelihood zone and an evolution zone. The former mainly depicts how plants survive in complex and varied natural environments, while the latter showcases the evolution of plants from lower to higher species. In addition, more than 1,400 species of plants are on display at the rare plant house.

Tickets:

60 yuan ($8.44) per person for entrance to Chenshan Botanical Garden;

360 yuan per person for tropical flower house;

280 yuan per person for sand plant house;

210 yuan per person for rare plant house
