The InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland, or Tianma Pit Hotel, recently introduced several preferential policies targeting newlyweds. People who make reservations before June 30 for wedding banquets scheduled to be held prior to Dec 31 will enjoy a variety of benefits.
Those who book 15 tables or more will be allowed to use the hotel's star observation platform for two hours.
The bride and groom will also be given a helicopter tour over Sheshan Mountain and be able to use a venue (accommodating no more 10 people) in the hotel to hold children's birthday parties for free for a duration of up to two hours. Snacks and desserts will also be offered free of charge.
On the day of the wedding, the hotel will hold a customized laser show over the water for the newlyweds.
For those who book over 25 tables, the hotel will offer a Rolls-Royce wedding car for up to five hours or 200 kilometers, in addition to the aforementioned benefits.
The newlyweds' room will also be upgraded to a suite with a view of the hotel's waterfall.
Medical workers with valid medical certificates are entitled to an 80-percent discount on their reservation.
