Those interested in traveling to Sheshan Mountain during the Labor Day holiday will find the following information useful.

For the safety of all visitors, the pilgrimage activity on Shanshan Mountain will be suspended.

Scenic spots such as Zhongshan Church and Sheshan Observatory will remain closed.

Visitors to Western Shenshan Mountain are required to enter and exit from the north gate.

They are also required to make reservations in advance, have their temperatures taken, and present green health QR codes indicating they are most likely healthy before entering.

Visitors are advised to take public transportation, as traffic jams are likely to occur near the scenic spot.

Visitors are also encouraged to tour other scenic attractions in the Shanghai Sheshan National Tourism Resort.

The resort recently issued ticket packages allowing visitors to tour its seven major scenic attractions at a price of just 270 yuan ($39.1) – 47 percent of the normal price.

The seven scenic attractions include Chengshan Botanical Garden, Shanghai Happy Valley, Moon Lake Sculpture Park, Shanghai Shimao Elf-themed Park, Tianma Mountain Park, Xiaokunshan Garden, and Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park.
