Chenshan Botanical Garden, a popular site in Sheshan Resort, was promoted as a national based for nature education during the 2019 China Forest Tour Festival in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on Oct 18.

The festival bridged eco-tourism products with demand from the market and showcased the latest achievements made in the development of beautiful China and forest tourism, including the nature education courses and tours presented by Chenshan Botanical Garden.

The garden, co-built by the Shanghai municipal government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the then National Forestry Administration, aims to study and promote knowledge of different plant species among the public.
