The Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism hosted a promotional campaign in Beijing and Tianjing from May 23 to 27 to highlight Shanghai's tourism resources and culture.
Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort also took the chance to showcase its rich natural resources and amusement rides for college students.
Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort, located in Songjiang district in the western suburbs of Shanghai 30km from downtown, is the only natural mountain forest resort in Shanghai, Sheshan Mountain. It is known for its rich history, cultural and religion. Sheshan National Tourist Resort has built five featured cluster districts involving amusement, ecological travel, science, healthy sports, and reminiscence. They include Shanghai Happy Valley, Playa Maya Water Park, Guangfulin relics Park and Tianma Country Club.
