The 2018 Volvo World Golf Challenge will commence at Tianma Country Club in Songjiang district, Shanghai on Dec 23.
Founded in 1981, the event has developed an international tournament recognized by amateur golf clubs. It provides a platform for amateur golfers to display their talents.
The Volvo World Golf Challenge attracts around 50,000 golf club members from more than 25 countries and regions every year, and nearly one million amateur players have participated in the competition over the past 30 years.
The top three winners of the tournament in China have qualified to participate in the international finals and also got the chance to compete with professional players in the Volvo China Open Qualifier.
