Chenshan Botanical Garden holds insectivorous plant exhibition

An insectivorous plants exhibition was held in Chenshan Botanical Garden at Songjiang district of Shanghai from July 1 to 15.

The exhibition, with an area of 400 square meters, displayed more than 250 insectivorous plants from all over the world, of 20 varieties.

The exhibition area was in a large greenhouse, to provide the plants with a natural growing environment.

An insectivorous plant is any type of plant which feeds on insects.
