The Chenshan Botanical Garden will host a snow mountain running competition at 8:30 a.m. on Dec 26.
The run, organized by EASYRUN and named by the SHENTONG Group, involves both highways and mountain roads, and totals 12.8 kilometers.
The organizer will create a frozen world by making artificial snow alongside the running route.
Visitors can take a bus to Chenshan Botanical Garden after getting off Metro Line 9. Every participant will get a package containing a running suit, a Marathon backpack, a 60 yuan ($9) garden ticket and a 299 yuan ($47) fleece of limited edition.
Participants who manage to finish the run will get customized medals and special gifts.
After the run, participants can rent a bike and ride across surrounding scenic spots like Sheshan National Forest Park, Moon Lake Sculpture Park, and Shanghai Happy Valley enjoying the beautiful scenery.
