Sheshan National Tourist Resort, the only natural mountain forest resort in Shanghai, hosted a forum to celebrate its 20th anniversary on Sept 20.
Senior officials, including the vice mayor of Shanghai, attended the forum and delivered speeches. Several tourist experts shared their views on the future direction of the resort, discussing such issues as development orientation, tourism products, public services and Internet application.

Sheshan Mountain was approved as a national tourist resort by the State Council in 1995. It enjoys a long-lasting reputation for its historical, cultural and religious background.
Over the years, Sheshan National Tourist Resort has built many scenic spots and high-end forest tourist service facilities, such as East Sheshan Park, West Sheshan Park, Xiaokunshan Park, Sheshan Mountain Cableway, Dryland Sleighs, Forest Bird Park, Sheshan Forest Hotel and Forest Restaurant.
It currently is an attractive spot for forest tourism and landscaping.
