Chenshan Botanical Garden at the Sheshan National Tourist Resort, Songjiang district of Shanghai, will hold parent-child events to celebrate the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival on June 21.
The events will include eating rice dumplings, drinking yellow wine, and enjoying dragon boat races.
The garden will set up a service desk at the entrance of its No.1 gate, offering task lists to families. Families need to finish all the tasks included in the list, such as finding four-leaf clover flower boxes, flowers in dragon boats and plants prepared for the Dragon Boat Festival. Those who finish all tasks will receive a gift at the No.1 gate.
Chenshan Botanical Garden has become a popular tourist destination of choice for parent-child families who want to go for an outing during holidays. The garden has been all along holding different themed events to feature its abundant plant resources and the differentiated cultural features of festivals held in the garden.
