Shanghai Happy Valley in Sheshan has kicked off its summer nights program. Nearly 20 recreational programs and more than 30 night performances will be on offer for the public and last until Oct 7, the last day of the National Day holiday.
The night program begins at 17:30 every day and costs 80 yuan per person. Visitors can enjoy four-hour carnival-style entertainment. There are four themed areas, namely the Port Sunshine, the Happy Time, the Ocean of Joy and recently-upgraded Hurricane Bay.

The valley will liven up the nights with a series of exciting performances that willfeature sea lions, slam dunk, acrobatics and rock band. A themed masquerade gala will also be staged. All of them are set to ensure a thrilling experience for visitors.
The valley has recently heavily invested in upgrading ambiance lights, which will ignite the landscape sceneries of the valley once the night falls.
