Sheshan's Tianma Country Club is in place for the qualifying for the 2015 Volvo China Open golf tournament on Mar 9-11, which is scheduled for April 23 to 26 at the Tomson Shanghai Pudong Golf Club.
Both professionals and amateurs can apply for the qualifying or get more information via volvochinaopen website or the phone number (86) 186 1211 7784. Other rounds of qualifying will take place in mixed venues across the country.
Volvo was the first western brand to engage with professional golf play in China in 1995, and has then become more committed to the growing market in the field. Prize fund for the tournament is 20 million yuan ($3.2 million). The tournament is organized by the China Golf Association with Volvo as co-organizer and promoter, and is co-sanctioned by the European Tour and OneAsia. It enters the third decade in 2015.
