The Chenshan Botanical Garden at the city of Shanghai's Sheshan National Tourist Resort, held a "Wonderful world of plants" activity on Nov 15, to give elementary school students a hands-on, personal learning experience.
There was a teacher on hand to show the 50 students tools that are used to make specimen, and guide them in getting their own plant specimens, explaining the plants' geographical distribution, as well as related terms and cultivation methods. For the conclusion, they visited a greenhouse and played some games.
