Sheshan embracing World Championships

The World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions held at Shanghai's Sheshan Golf International Club on Nov 6 – 9, 2014, welcomed important golfers such as World 2nd-place Adam Scott, 5th-place Henrik Stenson from Sweden, and Gerry Lester "Bubba" Watson, winner of the 2012 Masters Tournament from the United States.

Opening ceremony

Professional golfers such as Bubba Watson, World 6th-place Justin Rose from the UK, and 10th-place Rickie Fowler from the United States, took part in the opening ceremony held in Shanghai's Peninsula Hotel, an international 5-star hotel, on Nov 4th.

Welcome Party

Several dozen golfers gathered at the Long Museum West Bund, China's largest institution of private collections located in Xuhui District, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of HSBC's World Golf Championship this year on Nov 4th.

And the musician Tandun, contemporary Chinese sculptor Qu Guangci, and curator of the Long Museum, Wang Wei, took part in the party.

US Ryder Cup star Jordan Spieth, 21 years of age, is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour. He held his first China fan meeting in the Jingan Kerry Center, a shopping mall in Jingan district, Shanghai, on Nov 4.
