Sheshan launches EBA training program

EBA (Elementary Business Arrangement) training classes at Sheshan National Tourist Resort started on April 2 in a residential area named Sheshan Home. Gao Guoxiang, the deputy director of Sheshan; Li Guiming, the admissions director of Songjiang Television University; and some other officials attended the opening ceremony.

The EBA training classes will last for 3 months and will cover topics like introduction to management, introduction to economics and introduction to law. The business administration classes are fundamental for corporate managers and are core classes for students majoring in business administration.

Once the trainers confirm the training session, student will receive an EBA certificate and the opportunity to pursue further professional training in business administration at Shanghai Television University.

At the opening ceremony, Gao Guoxiang said that "tourism is an enterprise, an industry, a profession and also a vocation". He mentioned that tourism in Sheshan was in need of qualified people. The launch of the EBA training program has built a platform to improve professional knowledge and occupational quality for tourism employers. It will also help encourage more workers with capacity and potential to take part in the training.

The launch of EBA training is the beginning of a new cooperation model. It will carry on tourist training in the government, colleges and corporations, aiming to enhance the integral level of tourist workers in the resort. Next, the training will teach courses on resort tourism, service etiquette and service specifications. As a result, it can promote the strength, brand and quality of Sheshan.
