Over 30 blind elderly people from the Blind Person Association of Lujiazui Finance District in Pudong came to Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden for a tour on Oct 23.
Tour guides from the scenic spot accompanied the group as they visited the Pit Garden and Greenhouse. The group also heard the deafening roars of waterfalls plunging over 100 meters and listened to the vivid and melodious water from the running streams.
Afterwards, they visited the Blind Person Garden. The group listened to the rustling sound of wind blowing across the bamboo forest. They smelled the fresh scent of fragrant fruits and touched tree trunks and twigs. They all enjoyed the atmosphere.
