By A photography contest in Shanghai was designed to capture the beauty of every day life.
Sponsored by Shanghai Happy Valley, the Oriental Morning Post and Oriental’s photo website, the contest running between July 7 and Aug 31 invites contestants to submit photos taken either with their cell phones or their cameras.
The photos should be taken in Happy Valley and be related to the contest's "Happy shooting in passionate summer" theme.
People can submit their photos to the Oriental's photo website.
The outstanding works will be presented on a large LED screen a week after the contest. It is the second cooperation between Shanghai Happy Valley and Oriental Morning Post. The first was a photo contest in 2011.
Advertisements were first posted in the newspaper on July 11 and videos displayed in downtown Shanghai on July 15. The advertisements will run for eight weeks.
