Chenshan Botanical Garden has been awarded as a "Shanghai Civilized Park" by the Shanghai cultural and ideological progressing office and Shanghai landscaping and appearance administration bureau.
Several factors were put into consideration for the evaluation, including landscaping and gardening management, environment, business service, and volunteer management.
To balance the evaluation, the contest office took professionals', residents' and visitors' opinions into consideration.
The award is a significant recognition of Chenshan Garden’s management. The Chenshan management team was encouraged to promote the garden's development while maintaining the service quality. In the future, the team will focus on scientific research, service and team management.
