New projects to boost Tai'an's industrial modernization
During the fourth Conference of Great Business Partners held in Jinan on Oct 30, Tai'an in East China's Shandong province showcased its industrial strength and secured several major projects, highlighting its growing appeal among high-tech enterprises.
Zhao Yueqiang, chairman and CEO of Guanghua Rongchang Group, announced the signing of a high-end intelligent automotive parts industrial park project. He praised Tai'an's dedicated services for boosting their confidence to build a smart, full-industry-chain base for car intelligent cockpits in Tai'an.
Additionally, the city's strategic location is a major advantage. Situated between the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic belt and the Yangtze River Delta and within the core Jinan metropolitan area, Tai'an boasts a comprehensive transport network. This includes high-speed rail links and expressways, putting within two hours of Beijing and three hours of Shanghai, which provides solid logistics support for industrial clusters.
Singapore's Lobb Heng Group is investing in an international logistics park in Tai'an. Vice-President Han Guoqing commended the "Tai'an speed and warmth" experienced throughout the process, from land planning to energy supply. The park aims to facilitate two-way agricultural trade between Tai'an and the Middle East, helping more companies expand into the Association of Southeast Asian Nations markets.
Agreements on a total of seven projects were signed, focusing on high-end manufacturing, new energy storage, and modern logistics. These investments are a reflection of the strong business confidence in Tai'an and are expected to inject new momentum into the city's push for high-quality economic development and the creation of a modernized industrial system.
