The three-day Tai'an service consumption festival wrapped up on Oct 26, attracting over 100,000 visitors and featuring more than 200 brands from Xinjiang, Chongqing, and local businesses. The event integrated regional resources to boost urban consumption.

Specialty products from Xinjiang and Chongqing, such as cashmere scarves and cured meats, sold out on the first day.

Local delicacies and crafts — including Dongping fish balls, Xintai fried chicken, and Feicheng peach wood carvings — also drew large crowds. A vendor from Ningyang, Tai'an, reported selling 100 smoked chickens within hours, leading to a doubled supply the next day.

Beyond food, the festival offered a platform for essential services. Homebuyers compared properties from 25 developers and received consultations on housing policies. Auto exhibitors also experienced strong interest, with many visitors placing deposits on new energy vehicles.

The consumption season not only featured specialty products from other regions and local favorites but also offered professional services in finance and healthcare. This initiative reflects a significant effort by the city to stimulate domestic demand, boost the urban economy, and improve public well-being.

Since the beginning of the year, Tai'an has promoted consumption through a campaign that organized over 320 events, including trade fairs, shopping festivals, and food festivals. These activities have energized the city's consumption, creating integrated scenarios that combine commerce, tourism, and culture to stimulate economic vitality and enhance public well-being.
