The 2024 China Distinctive Tourism Commodities Competition and the Award Ceremony of the 2024 China Tourism Commodity Competition were held in Yiwu, Zhejiang province on Oct 13. Tai'an city won one bronze medal, one silver medal, and a province-leading three gold medals.

This competition was jointly organized by the China Tourism Association and the People's Government of Yiwu.

During the competition, Tai'an recommended and submitted 28 items to the provincial cultural and tourism department, with 10 making it to final rounds.

Taking gold were the Shigandang city mascot series by Tai'an Gandang Tourism Culture Development Co Ltd, the Anqier peach blossom quilt by Shandong Anqier Life Technology Co Ltd, and the Jiupinggong creative snack pancake series by Jiupinggong (Shandong) Food Co Ltd.
