Exhibitions boost economic development in Tai'an

The 10th "Caocan Cup" youth recitation event concluded recently at the Taishan International Exhibition Center, bringing significant economic benefits.
The competition lasted eight days and featured 11 exhibition areas, attracting 14,000 contestants and over 40 language arts experts. Nearly 30,000 people attended the event, with contestants and their accompanying parents spending a total of 15 million yuan ($2.06 million) on food and lodging in Tai'an.
The convention economy has significantly boosted the city's economic development, with an industry driving coefficient as high as 1:9, injecting new vitality into the local economy.
The event utilized 10 conference rooms and a 5,000-square-meter waiting area. The exhibition center underwent nearly 600,000 yuan in equipment maintenance in preparation for the event.
In addition, the Taishan International Exhibition Center offered various intangible cultural heritage experiences and showcased Tai'an specialty products, promoting growth in cultural and tourism consumption.
The exhibition not only drove economic development, but also enhanced the city's image, promoted infrastructure construction, and strengthened urban management, having a profound impact on the city's development.
