Roadshow for 7th CIIE held in Tai'an
A roadshow to recruit purchasers for the seventh China International Import Expo took place in Tai'an, Shandong province on May 27.
The event was attended by exhibitors from the expo's food and agricultural products and intelligent industry and information technology exhibition areas, such as Goodfarmer, Otis Electric and Nippon Paint. Over 200 buyers from the province engaged in discussions with exhibitors, establishing preliminary business connections.
Addressing the attendees, Wu Zhengping, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau, said that he welcomes Shandong enterprises to actively participate in this year's expo and utilize the CIIE platform to achieve mutual benefits.
According to Wu, more than 800 enterprises from over 60 countries and regions have signed up for the business exhibition of the seventh CIIE, with the booked exhibition space exceeding 290,000 square meters.
During the roadshow, briefings were conducted on the overall status of preparations for the seventh CIIE, the registration process for professional visitors and various service measures.
Two important buyers of the CIIE – Jiayue Group and Befar Group – signed memorandums of cooperation with the CIIE Bureau.
