An agricultural products expo was held on Oct 15 at a vegetable trading market in Dongping county, Tai'an.

The expo aimed to showcase the green and ecological charm of Dongping, enhance the brand building of Dongping agriculture, and establish a platform for the exchange of agricultural products in Dongping.

During the event, agricultural products from 14 villages and towns were displayed. Representatives of farmers presented their distinctive agricultural products like fruits, vegetables, and aquatic products, which attracted the attention of many.

The expo fully demonstrated the fruitful results of increased production in Dongping's agricultural sector this year.

The agricultural expo was also attended by numerous agricultural investment companies and merchants.

A vegetable brand creation and production-sales matchmaking event was held on Oct 16 to promote trade, expand exchanges, and allow farmers to promote themselves.

Dongping county has in recent years been bolstering efforts to develop itself into a demonstration area for ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin.

Some 100 square kilometers of vegetable greenhouses have sprung up over the years due to these efforts.
