Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the 2023 small and medium-sized enterprises characteristic industrial cluster list, Feicheng's new battery electrode materials industry cluster was on the list, becoming Taian's first national-level industrial cluster.

Fengrong lithium battery recycling project is a key link in the extension and complementation of Feicheng's lithium battery industry chain. In recent years, led by Ruifu Lithium, Shandong Hongyun Technology and other enterprises, Feicheng's new battery electrode materials industry cluster relying on Feicheng's resource recycling base, strives to build a full-cycle, closed-loop industrial chain of lithium ore processing, lithium battery sodium battery raw materials, anode and cathode materials, electric material assembly and lithium battery recycling, with lithium battery positive and negative electrode materials, lithium battery assembly and recycling as the leading industries.

As an important part of the industrial economic development of Feicheng, Feicheng's new battery electrode materials industry cluster is a provincial-level comprehensive test area for new and old kinetic energy and a gathering area of strategic cooperation landing projects of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group.

Up to now, the cluster has included a total of 137 enterprises. Among them, the cluster has 57 national-level high-tech enterprises, 43 provincial-level specialized and special new enterprises, and 70 innovative small and medium-sized enterprises. At the same time, the cluster introduced leading enterprises in the industry such as EVE Energy, and accelerated the advancement of 37 in-chain projects with a total investment of 44.91 billion yuan ($6.16 billion), attracting strong momentum for the development of characteristic industrial clusters.
