A village gala celebrating both the Chinese Farmers' Festival, which fell on Sept 23, and the upcoming National Holiday was held in Zhangpingwa village, Longting town, Xintai city, a county-level city of Tai'an, on Sept 21.

Thirteen thematic programs, including videos, dancing, singing, and national-level intangible cultural heritage item performances, were warmly received by the audience, touching on such topics as rural vitalization and and common prosperity. 

In recent years, Tai'an's culture and tourism bureau has been bolstering efforts to enhance local people's cultural awareness, general happiness, and sense of security by providing more cultural events.
