The team from Taishan Polytechnic won the Gold Award at the international finals of Internet of Things in Agriculture event in the 2023 BRICS Skills Competition, which was held from Sept 12 to 16 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Taishan Polytechnic team from Tai'an, East China's Shandong province, consists of Cao Shuai and Li Yanxu. They competed with other 14 teams from BRICS nations including Russia, South Africa and Brazil in the finals. 

The 2023 BRICS Skills Competition aims to provide a platform for communication and cooperation for BRICS nations and focuses on key sectors such as intelligent manufacturing and digital economy.
