Xinfu Mountain Scenic Area has launched various events at nighttime to attract visitors since July 15, and the events will last until Aug 31.

An immersive light and shadow dance performance starts at 7:30 pm, illuminating the scenic area as beams of light shine around. Performers dance in the ancient-style pavilion, presenting the audience with scenes of "flying immortal legends".

The scenic area also offers visitors performances of intangible cultural heritage items and local snacks.

"This place is very beautiful and authentic Chinese style," said Vrezh from Armenia, who visited the scenic area with his daughter. They both were also impressed by the immersive light and shadow dance performance.

The scenic area also holds agriculture-themed exhibitions and sales to boost nighttime consumption.
