Taishan Shigandang Cultural Park to open to public
Taishan Shigandang Cultural Park will open on June 18, and many tourists are already making a beeline there to experience its entertainment projects in advance.
Themed on folk culture, the park relies on modern scientific and technological means and immersion tourism. It was designed and built as a national 5A scenic spot and is a key project of national intangible cultural heritage and folk tourism.
The park will offer more than 30 immersive and interactive programs and live shows covering 10,000 square meters to showcase the culture of Mount Tai. The park also has amenities for recreation, food, shopping, and accommodation.
For example, a program site called "leap over Mount Tai" is designed as a super stereoscopic ball screen cinema.
The 2,900-square-meter screen, which is the same size as seven basketball courts, provides an impressive view of the unique scenery of Mount Tai. Moreover, the seats are mobile, making tourists feel like they are soaring overhead in an aircraft.
Meanwhile, a folk culture street, built by Mount Tai stones, consists of more than 20 special restaurants, where tourists can enjoy delicious food from all over the country. In addition, there are many intangible cultural heritage crafts and Shigandang items for sale.
