A lily flower festival will kick off in Xintai, a county-level city in Tai'an, Shandong province, on June 16.
In addition to admiring a sea of lily flowers, a series of activities will be held during the festival where visitors can taste lily flower snacks and enjoy a lily flower photography exhibition and a photos and short videos competition.
The festival will be held at a local lily flower industrial complex with more than 800 hectares of lily plants planted. The complex has developed a complete chain integrating lily flower planting, processing, delivery, and sightseeing. The booming lily flower industry has helped develop six other agricultural demonstration areas in surrounding regions and increased locals' income.
In recent years, the lily flower industrial complex has also formed an online and offline combined lily industrial chain, including e-commerce.
