Qiqihar seeks cooperation with Tai'an
A seven-member delegation from the Qiqihar municipal government, Heilongjiang province, paid a visit to Tai'an, Shandong province, on March 5 and 6 to learn about the city's business environment and discuss cooperation in fields such as culture and tourism.
The delegation conducted a field trip to Daolang town in Daiyue district to review its rural tourism development, and the two cities signed a strategic cooperation agreement on cultural and tourism integration.
They plan to work together in tourism marketing, promote exchange of relevant information and jointly develop themed tourism products.

They also intend to roll out characteristic tourism programs by comprehensively integrating the advantageous resources of Tai'an and Qiqihar.
More efforts are being made in marketing practices regarding festivals, and the integration of festive resources covering the Mount Tai International Mountain Climbing Festival, Crane Admiring Festival, and Guandong (Northeast China) Cultural and Tourism Festival.
Travel agencies and media outlets from both sides will be organized to explore travel routes in the cities to help promote their reputation.
