The Tai'an Tourism and Economic Development Zone has been promoting the integrated development of tourism, culture, sports, and health care, and is developing the tourism industry to boost its economic development, according to a news conference held on Jan 12, which introduced the zone's tourism industry development and following work plan.

As the zone's major cultural tourism project in recent years, the cultural tourism town project is located in the core area along the Panhe River and spans 37 hectares. The buildings in the project combine traditional and modern architecture, and include complete facilities.

The Aegean Place and Tai'an Old Street Scenic Spot - core part in the cultural tourism town project - was selected as the first national night culture and tourism consumption gathering area in 2021.

This year, the Tai'an Tourism and Economic Development Zone aims to focus on developing the modern service industry to create more quality tourism products and boost the nighttime economy.

The zone also plans to facilitate commercial circulation and develop catering and accommodation sectors to empower the high-quality development of the tourism industry.

Furthermore, the zone is bolstering its efforts to form a tourism development layout by showcasing cultural tourism development achievements, stimulating cultural tourism consumption, and integrating culture and tourism.
