Tai'an receives 165,000 visitors during New Year holiday

According to statistics, major tourist attractions in Tai'an, including A-level scenic spots and rural tourism areas, received 165,000 visitors and achieved 6.29 million yuan ($913,400) in operating income and 2.33 million yuan in ticket sales income during the New Year holiday, which was from Dec 31, 2022 to Jan 2.
The number of visitors and ticket sales at the Mount Tai Scenic Area increased by 12.39 percent and 25.47 percent, respectively, and that of Tai'an Fantawild Adventure surged 2,043.32 percent and 486.67 percent, respectively, during the three-day holiday.
To teach people more about culture, the large-scale documentary "Great Mount Tai" premiered on Shandong TV from Jan 1 to 3.
In addition, a total of 22 public cultural events were held in Tai'an to gain participation from the public. For example, Tai'an Library launched digital reading service for free on its official WeChat account and offered "excellent book recommendations" both online and offline.
In order to continue boosting the tourism market and stimulate consumption, Tai'an's scenic spots and attractions have launched various promotional activities.
For example, the Mount Tai Scenic Area is selling annual cards to tourists in Shandong province, and attracted over 5,000 visitors to embrace the sunrise on top of the mountain on Jan 1. Places like the Tai'an Old Street Scenic Spots and Aegean Place held New Year's Eve celebration events.
