In order to meet the increasing demand of medical services for locals amid the spread of the recent COVID-19 outbreak, Feicheng, a county-level city in Tai'an in East China's Shandong province, has implemented multiple measures to provide medicines and doctors, according to local media reports.

Coordinated efforts have been made to provide more medical services to the city's residents. Among them, nucleic acid testing booths are being converted into consultation rooms for fever patients. The changes are among the latest efforts by Chinese cities to cope with the rising numbers of COVID-19 cases.

The temporary clinics are equipped with a doctor and a nurse and provide medicines to patients who have symptoms of a fever, cough and flu. They effectively relieved heavy burdens of local hospitals and local residents can access the medical services in their neighborhoods.
