Jin Jing, Party secretary of Yuezhuang village, Taian, Shandong province was selected as a delegate to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in recognition of her efforts in rural vitalization.

The village has been concentrating on growing the livestock industry as its main industry and boosting the overall economy thanks to Jin's efforts.

For example, the village built a high-standard livestock neighborhood with over 1,500 cows. The village also invited experts to give guidance to farmers on livestock and carried out unified management.

In order to promote the transformation of old development drivers with new ones, the village integrated the livestock industry with local folk culture related tourism to develop characteristic folk culture tours.

In addition, the village has been exploring diverse cooperation modes and formed specialized agricultural cooperatives in order to improve industrial upgrading by facilitating the development of new business formats.

The village has also been cooperating with an edible fungus technology company called Qicheng to build eight greenhouses, supportive laboratories, workshops and other facilities to cultivate fungus in an area spanning 6.67 hectares. The area produces 1 million bags of oyster mushrooms, 500,000 bags of black fungus, 500,000 bags of shiitake mushrooms, and 200,000 bags of other fungus strains annually.
