Longze Lake Park, located west of Taishan Square in Taishan district, Tai'an, took on a new look recently and opened to the public.
The park has been upgraded into an urban multifunctional area integrated with sightseeing, public services, and education.
The park adopted the art of traditional Chinese gardening, which incorporates surrounding scenery such as the Mount Tai with the lake in the park, to create poetic scenery.
Outdoor tables and chair, a children's playground and other leisure and fitness facilities were added to the park so that people have more options to enjoy their spare time in the park.
In order to improve the park's environment and safety, the upgrading project also included water dredging and adding 1,200 meters of stone railings.
"The park is much more beautiful than before," said a local surnamed Liu.
