Domestic, intl entriprises ink project deals worth 65.9b yuan in Tai'an
The 36th International Mount Tai Climbing Festival and the 2022 Tai'an Investment and Cooperation Conference were held in Tai'an, Shandong province on Sept 6.
More than 650 guests and business people from home and abroad including Malaysia, South Korea, and Germany attended the conference via both online channels and offline venues.
A total of 66 project deals worth 65.9 billion yuan ($9.5 billion) were inked at the investment and cooperation conference, covering key industries including new energy, high-end chemicals, automobile and parts, medicine and medical equipment, and the digital economy.
The key projects signing ceremony and key industrial chain promotion event were the highlights of this year's conference, with 46 projects worth 53.45 billion yuan signed, accounting for 81.1 percent of the total number.
From January to August, Tai'an's added value of industries above the designated size increased 8.7 percent year-on-year.
