Cross-border e-commerce cold chain project completed in Qingdao WCNA

The Cross-Border E-commerce Cold Chain Logistics and Sorting/Processing Project, funded and built by the Qingdao Development Area Investment Construction Group, has completed all construction phases. The facility is now undergoing final acceptance procedures and is preparing for imminent handover and operation.

The comprehensive project features six individual structures, including two cold storage warehouses, an integrated complex building, a processing workshop, and essential support facilities. The site boasts a sophisticated layout designed to meet diverse needs within the cold chain sector.

Key operational features include dedicated freezing zones, inspection platforms, ultra-low temperature cold storage rooms, quick-freezing compartments, and a processing workshop, all complemented by the administrative office complex.

Upon completion, the hub will offer high-quality services spanning frozen storage, sorting/processing, international and domestic trade, supply chain finance, and specialized logistics. It is expected to effectively promote the clustering of the cold chain logistics industry within the Qingdao West Coast New Area, significantly boosting regional industrial upgrading, quality, and efficiency.
