Gao Shanwu, director of the Qingdao Free Trade Zone Administration Committee, led a delegation on a special exchange and project promotion visit to Germany and France from Oct 20 to 25, advancing investment attraction and international cooperation.
In Germany, the delegation visited Diehl Controls GmbH, Siempelkamp Group Headquarters, Weiss Chemie + Technik GmbH, KraussMaffei Group, Ammann Group, and the BVMW. Through discussions and promotions, four key project cooperation agreements were signed to boost industrial, investment, and trade cooperation.
In France, the delegation engaged with Schneider Electric Group and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Association for the Promotion of Franco-Chinese Relations, focusing on advanced manufacturing, genetic technology, and green industries.
This success resulted in four major cooperation projects in cross-border e-commerce and advanced manufacturing. It highlights the Qingdao FTZ's effectiveness in targeted investment promotion and its role as a platform for deepening international cooperation.
