SCO cultural exchange highlighted at Qingdao Intl Beer Festival

The SCO Member States Arts Festival & "SCO Week" of the Qingdao International Beer Festival commenced on the evening of July 25 at Golden Beach Beer City in Qingdao West Coast New Area.

The opening night featured a diverse program, including a performance by a Kazakh singer and captivating Chinese song and dance acts, along with a Peking opera performance. The blend of music, dance, and culture highlighted the artistic exchange between China and SCO countries.

The event, running until July 31, extends beyond the stage with a special market in front of the Tsingtao Beer Museum. Visitors can explore and purchase unique products from SCO countries, like Azerbaijan's pomegranate juice, Turkish coffee, and Russian ice cream. Complementary areas for unique creative products, intangible cultural heritage, and handmade crafts provide immersive experiences.

Adding to the immersive experience, SCO-themed song and dance parades will take place daily. Furthermore, attendees can participate in a surprise blind box activity for a chance to win prizes like hotel vouchers, dining coupons, and cultural products. The event aims to foster cultural understanding and appreciation among SCO member states.
