The administrative approval service bureau of Qingdao West Coast New Area has introduced an innovative service called the "electronic announcement of lost administrative licenses" this year.
Previously, when businesses lost their documents, they had to publish a declaration in newspapers and then use the newspaper to apply for a replacement. With the electronic announcement of lost administrative license service, businesses bid farewell to these worries. Since its implementation, the service has served over 600 market entities.
Now, in Qingdao West Coast New Area, businesses that lose their administrative licenses need only to submit a registration form to declare their lost administrative license online or offline. After review by the district's administrative approval service bureau, the announcement of the lost license can be published online. Once the announcement is made, businesses can proceed with the replacement of the administrative license through a seamless and immediate process.

This minor reform helps businesses save costs and allows them to focus more on business development.
"The electronic announcement holds the same legal effect as the paper publication, and the data is stored in the cloud," said a staff member of the administrative approval service bureau.
Businesses and the public can access and download the announcement records online at any time, which unlike physical newspapers, cannot be lost and are much easier to search. Currently, it covers the replacement of over 20 types of lost administrative licenses.
