Qingdao WCNA boosts night economy with innovative nighttime consumption formats

Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) is making strides in the creation of new nighttime consumption models.

Throughout this year, Qingdao WCNA has been shifting from a focus on traditional street markets for dining and shopping to a hub for nighttime cultural tourism and entertainment, integrating culture, tourism, and performing arts. 

Focusing on dining, shopping, tourism, entertainment, sports, exhibitions and performances, the area continuously takes innovative steps to enhance the overall growth of the night economy, catering to the quality, diversity and personalized consumption demands of residents and tourists.

From June 7 to October 7, the Qingdao carnival coastal tourism leisure street will feature a spectacular performance of aerial acrobatics over a flaming cauldron, bringing a sense of excitement to the summer nights in the area. 

The 360-degree panoramic show Qingdao on the Sea uses cutting-edge stage technology and world-class storytelling to provide a breathtaking audiovisual experience for viewers.
