Shinan district, as the urban area in Qingdao with the highest density of metro stations, is only half an hour's drive to reach Qingdao Liuting International Airport and one hour's drive to get to the to-be-used 4F-level Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport with the highest international level. 

The district has formed transportation networks of roads, ports, airlines and railways. Visitors can reach any district or city of Qingdao within one hour from Shinan district, and any city of Shandong peninsula within three hours. The subway Line 2 and Line 3 in the district are in full operation. 

Qingdao Railway Station under its jurisdiction has direct access to major cities across the country. 

Qingdao Liuting International Airport has opened 157 domestic routes, and 29 international and regional routes. It is connected to 81 domestic cities, and 25 international and regional cities. The number of intercontinental direct routes has reached eight, achieving direct flights to countries including the US and Australia.
