Recently, Qingdao's culture and tourism bureau launched eight special winter tour routes, inviting anyone to experience the unique warmth and romance at 36 degrees north latitude.

Coastal charms route: Ocean breeze and seagulls  

From the famous Zhanqiao Pier to the quiet Badaguan area, enjoy seagull feeding at the pier, coastal walks past red reefs at Luxun Park, and visit the Qingdao Underwater World. End with a boat ride from the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center, giving stunning city views from the sea.

Wellness and rejuvenation route: Hot springs and tranquility  

Starting from old Jimo city, visit forest hot springs at Tiantai, herbal baths at Badong town, and marine brine springs at Haiquan Bay Resort. Finish with a hike up Heshan Mountain for peace and renewal.

Romance and wedding route: Love by the sea and mountains  

For couples, this route has romantic spots like Xiaoqing Island Park, Taipingjiao Park, and the cloud-high observatory at Yunshang Haitian. Enjoy sunset views at Xiaomai Island Park, the artistic Haizhilian Park, and the Polar Light Ferris Wheel, with Laoshan Mountain serving as a breathtaking backdrop for vows.

Winter carnival route: Snow and adventure  

Start with skiing at Cangmashan Ski Resort, visit the ancient-style Aduo Huayu, and enjoy the Moonlight Wedding Chapel and the Ice and Snow Kingdom at Qingdao Forest Wildlife Animals.

Cultural and nostalgic route: Historic old town walk  

Explore Qingdao's history, starting from Zhongshan Road and Daxue Road. Visit the Qingdao Art Museum, Xinhao Hill Park, and the old German governor's residence.

Knowledge and exploration route: Museum and study tour  

For families and curious minds, visit the Tsingtao Beer Museum, the PLA Naval Museum, the Hisense Science Exploration Center, the Haier World Home Appliance Museum, and the Qingdao Museum for history and culture.

Local flavors route: Culinary and cultural delights  

From the busy Tuandao farmers market to the historic Dabaodao Cultural and Leisure Block and night markets like Taidong and Licun, experience local life. Visit the Qingdao SCODA Pearl International Expo Center for cultural exchanges.
