Qingdao in East China's Shandong province added a new cruise ship for the upcoming peak tourist season on April 16, aiming to promote the high-quality integrated development of maritime travel and tourism in Qingdao.
The new ship is equipped with advanced engines and propulsion equipment, and its service facilities are at the highest domestic level, providing a comfortable and stylish sea journey for tourists.
Ren Xianhui, deputy general manager of Qingdao Tourism Group, said that the group added the new cruise ship in order to further meet peak-season demand for marine tourism. It is a high-speed passenger ship with a capacity of 199 passengers, a length of 40.15 meters, a width of nine meters, and a maximum speed of 30 sea miles per hour, making it the fastest tourist ship in Qingdao.
Qingdao Tourism Group plans to gradually introduce more than 40 types of vessels before the peak season this year, covering areas such as the Qingdao Olympic Sailing and Marine Cultural Tourism Area, the century-old Zhanqiao Pier, and Badaguan Scenic Area, adding more than 1,700 passenger seats and further promoting the high-quality development of Qingdao's maritime tourism, according to Ren.
Ren stated that in the future, Qingdao Tourism Group will continue to working to improve the quality of tourism and vigorously develop maritime routes, aiming to obtain both economic and social benefits.
